George W. Reagan George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the New Family Life Center for First Baptist Church, Powell by negotiation. George W. Reagan Company met with the owner and the design team in order to establish the budget and to provide input on the type of materials to use for construction. After several meetings, it was determined that a hybrid of pre-engineered and structural steel would be the most economical construction type in order to meet the church’s budget and space needs. The construction consists of reinforced concrete slab on grade and decks, masonry block, pre-engineered building components, structural steel beams and columns, steel joists, steel roof deck, mechanically seamed standing seam roof, and EPDM roofing. Exterior elevations include insulation finish system and masonry brick veneer in order to match the existing campus. Interior finishes include, sport flooring, wood look vinyl plank, ceramic tile, vinyl tile, carpet, and epoxy floor coatings.
